Away Shirt 2012/13

The design

Nike's away shirt for the Socceroos' 2012/13 campaign features a deep obsidian blue base. The standout feature is a sharp, vertical yellow stripe running down the left side, which passes directly behind the national coat of arms. To complement this asymmetrical look, a smaller yellow stripe is placed on the right sleeve, balancing the overall aesthetic.

The details

In alignment with Nike's environmental initiatives, the jersey is composed of at least 96% recycled polyester, constructed from approximately 13 plastic bottles per uniform. Technically, the shirt incorporates Dri-FIT technology, laser-cut ventilation zones, and a double-knit yarn structure designed to be stronger and lighter than previous iterations. Hidden details include the Football Federation Australia crest printed inside the collar.
