The design
Reviving the identity from the club's inception, this jersey features a primary blue base accented by a claret and salmon stripe design across the chest, sleeves, and sides. The Brentford crest and the Joma manufacturer logo are aligned vertically down the center of the chest.
The details
The player-issue authentic shirt features a lightweight, breathable jacquard weave with micro-mesh ventilation panels. To reduce environmental impact, the replica version is constructed from 100 per cent recycled polyester. A commemorative '1889' graphic is printed on the back of the neck.
The story
In October 1889, members of the Brentford Rowing Club voted to form a football club rather than a rugby club. Upon formation, the new football team adopted the rowing club's signature claret, salmon, and blue colours, which are re-imagined for this modern third strip.
