Third Shirt 2025/26
The design
Leganés and Joma have introduced a third shirt focused on raising awareness for mental health. The jersey incorporates a historical symbol of the municipality: the entrance gate of the former José Germain psychiatric hospital. This key feature represents inclusion and respect, carrying a profound local and social message.
The details
The construction places an emphasis on comfort and modern sports science, utilizing a classic crew neck paired with ribbed cuffs for an improved fit. Joma has also integrated their Micro-Mesh System in the underarms to help dissipate sweat, alongside Flatlock seams designed to protect players from friction and irritation during intense matchplay.
The story
This project was developed in close coordination with Fundación Manantial, a leading organization committed to supporting individuals with mental health struggles. In addition to its social focus, the shirt is built with ecological responsibility, composed entirely of recycled polyester jacquard sourced from discarded PET bottles.
