The design
The shirt draws direct visual inspiration from Caño Cristales, Colombia's legendary "River of Five Colors." The canvas utilizes shifting shades of blue, paired with subtle yellow and pink tones to mimic the organic flow of the biological heritage site situated deep within the nation's green ecosystems.
The details
To maintain structural tradition amid the abstract pattern, the iconic Adidas shoulder stripes and the national team crest are rendered in a uniform yellow. From a technical standpoint, the player-issue shirts feature sweat-wicking HEAT.RDY technology, and the entire production run was manufactured locally within Colombia using completely recycled materials.
The story
This away kit represents a landmark moment for the federation, representing the first time a bespoke jersey was developed specifically for the Colombian women's national team ahead of a major tournament. To celebrate the launch and its connection to the river's home region, Adidas and the Selección Colombia Foundation coordinated a donation of gear to over one hundred young amateur players in the municipality of La Macarena.
