The design
Conceived by haute couture designer Didit Hediprasetyo, the jersey features a custom pattern created by artist Golnaz Jabelli. The visual composition uses oil-painted textures of water and marble to capture the energy and serene depth of Lake Como.
The details
The shirt is part of a community-focused initiative. Rather than releasing new jerseys annually, Como promised to wear this exact design for at least two seasons, with the ultimate ambition of maintaining it for five years to save fans money.
The story
The kit's launch coincided with the signing of Spanish midfielder Cesc Fàbregas. To support the local area, the club sold digital prints and lithographs of the jersey's artwork, with all proceeds directly funding restoration projects around the city of Como.
