The story

To mark its centenary milestone, ACF Fiorentina has returned to the very beginning of its sporting legacy. In August 1926, Marquis Luigi Ridolfi Vay da Verrazzano orchestrated the merger of Club Sportivo Firenze and Palestra Ginnastica Fiorentina Libertas. Bringing together the white identity of the former and the red of the latter, the newly established club originally competed in a split red and white kit. One hundred years later, this special edition release honors those early days when Florence rallied behind these original colors.

The design

The commemorative jersey presents a half-and-half layout of white and red, paired with a contrasting black collar that coordinates with the kit's shorts and socks. The fabric is elevated by a custom jacquard weave that integrates the number 100 into an abstract infinity pattern. To complete the heritage look, the chest features a faithful recreation of the 1926 club crest, depicting a red lily set within a classic white teardrop shield.

The details

Thoughtful tribute elements are seamlessly incorporated across the design. The left sleeve, where the captain's armband traditionally sits, features thirteen embossed lilies representing the supporters as the twelfth player and celebrating the memory of former captain Davide Astori. Additionally, the infinity logo is placed inside the collar as an internal sign-off for the club's centennial celebrations.
