The design
The base of the shirt is clean white, featuring a subtle light blue graphic pattern that represents the floodlight-lit roof membrane of the Volksparkstadion. This pattern flows into the club's diamond crest, creating a double-diamond visual concept. For the first time in the club's history with adidas, the three shoulder stripes are rendered in two different colours: blue and black, representing the parking bay markings that lead fans into the stadium.
The details
The collar is a blue and black crew neck, matching the shoulder stripes. The club's diamond crest is embroidered and includes the champion's star above it. Printed on the back of the neck are the precise geographic coordinates of the Volksparkstadion's centre spot. The fabric utilizes breathable CLIMACOOL technology and is made entirely from recycled polyester.
The story
The promotional campaign features Hamburger SV players Vicky Schulz, Nicolai Remberg, and Shafiq Nandja alongside younger versions of themselves. The creative narrative highlights the journey from childhood dreams on the banks of the Elbe River to stepping out onto the pitch of a sold-out Volksparkstadion.
