Third Shirt 2026/27

The design

Hull City's 2026/27 third kit introduces a bold blue look with contrasting white sleeves and collar, accented by refined blue and gold trims. The design is a direct nod to the club's 1935/36 home kit, which was originally adopted to align with the traditional civic colors of Kingston Upon Hull. To finalize the classic look, the shirt's collar features a traditional two-button placket.

The details

The front of the jersey brings back the historical Three Civic Crowns shield, replacing the modern tiger emblem which was first introduced in 1947. Instead, the gold tiger crest is subtly placed on the upper back neck. Continuing the club's 'The City Speaks' narrative, the inside collar features a line from a poem by local writer Shane Rhodes: 'Before the three coronets were stamped, we punched our gold with H for Hull.' The kit is completed by white shorts and blue-and-white hooped socks.

The launch

Developed by OXEN Sports in partnership with Hull City Council and design creator @concept_kits_, the shirt was officially released on September 7, 2026. The kit made its on-pitch debut the following day in a Carabao Cup third-round match against Sunderland.
