The design
The jersey is dominated by a deep maroon base, featuring a subtle, tonal pattern across the front panel. The sleeves and back panel are rendered in solid maroon, offset by gold detailing which includes the traditional adidas three stripes running along the shoulders.
The details
A gold-monochrome club crest is positioned on the chest. The shirt features a clean V-neck collar and is constructed with adidas's moisture-absorbing AEROREADY technology. Matching maroon shorts and socks, both detailed with gold trim, complete the strip.
The story
This design serves as a tribute to the 50th anniversary of Leeds United's Inter-Cities Fairs Cup victory in the 1970/71 season. Led by captain Billy Bremner and manager Don Revie, the team overcame Juventus in a two-legged final, securing the trophy on away goals after a 2-2 draw in Turin and a 1-1 draw at Elland Road.
