Poppy Special Shirt 2024/25
The story
To mark the annual Poppy Appeal, Leeds United joined forces with the Royal British Legion to honor the sacrifices of the Armed Forces community. During their November fixtures against Millwall and Queens Park Rangers, Leeds players took to the pitch wearing custom shirts adorned with the iconic red poppy emblem, a symbol of remembrance and support for veterans dealing with physical and mental scars.
The details
Following the matches, these limited match-worn kits were signed by the individual squad members. They were then put up for auction on the MatchWornShirt platform, with all net proceeds donated directly to the Royal British Legion to fund vital welfare services for service personnel and veterans.
