The design
PUMA has revived the traditional vertical red and gold stripes for the club's home jersey. A subtle tone-on-tone graphic is layered over the stripes, depicting the prominent structural masts and roof supports of Stade Bollaert-Delelis, linking the shirt directly to the landscape of the city.
The details
The jersey is finished with a clean V-neck and delicate black borders at the cuffs. Tucking a tribute to the passionate home support inside, the phrase 'LA PASSION À L'UNISSON' (Passion in Unison) is printed inside the collar. In line with modern environmental initiatives, the fan replica is manufactured using PUMA's RE:FIBRE process, which repurposes textile waste into high-quality polyester.
The launch
Taking inspiration from the tall structures of Stade Bollaert-Delelis, RC Lens and PUMA went airborne for the kit's campaign, titled 'À Sang à l'or'. The launch media featured players on the stadium roof, iconic former captain Éric Sikora piloting a plane, and supporters freefalling from 4,000 meters to reveal the new shirt.
