Focusing on minimalism and elegance, this home kit strips away unnecessary complexity to return to basics. It features a clean aesthetic highlighted by a traditional fold-over collar, echoing the classic garments worn during historical eras of the club.
The story
The look is a direct tribute to Jean Prouff, a legendary player and coach who shaped the identity of Stade Rennais. To celebrate the launch and honor Prouff's historic achievement of cycling from Rennes to Paris for his first national team call-up, former professional cyclist Julien Simon recreated the route in reverse. Cycling back to Roazhon Park while wearing the new kit, he was joined on the final stretch by former players, local content creators, and club supporters.
The details
Engineered with sustainability and high performance in mind, PUMA utilized distinct materials for both versions of the jersey. The replica shirt incorporates RE:FIBRE technology, composed of at least 95% recycled textile waste. Meanwhile, the authentic player version utilizes lightweight ULTRAWEAVE fabric to reduce drag and weight on the pitch.
