The design
The alternative kit is built on a black foundation, featuring stylized graffiti graphics that run across the fabric. These elements represent the Farbenstadt heritage, celebrating Leverkusen's historic identity tied to the dye and chemical industry of the nineteenth century.
The details
Contrasting details populate the shirt in a vibrant cyan blue, which is used for the monochrome club crest, the Castore wings, and the main Barmenia sponsor branding. The club's nickname, Werkself, is also printed onto the collar in the same bright blue shade.
The launch
Debuted on the pitch during a pre-season friendly against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, the shirt went on sale alongside the home and away kits. It was produced exclusively in a standard replica fit, with no player-issue version made commercially available.
