The story
Ahead of their traditional pre-season opening match against VfL Wolfsburg at De Kuip, Feyenoord finalized several squad number updates for the upcoming campaign. Midfielder Inbeom Hwang transitioned from number 4 to number 6, a shirt left vacant by Ramiz Zerrouki's loan move. Sem Steijn claimed the number 14 jersey following Igor Paixão's departure. Additionally, new signings Tsuyoshi Watanabe, Jordan Bos, and Casper Tengstedt were officially allocated their respective squad numbers.
