The design

The jersey is built around a predominantly blue base, contrasted by silver detailing that serves as a nod to the club's historic foundations. Its most prominent physical feature is a retro-styled lace-up collar, giving the kit an elegant and traditional appearance.

The details

For the first time on a performance match kit, the design introduces the brand's 'Authentic' label. This specific branding represents a lifestyle-led branch of the Italian manufacturer, channeling late-1990s football aesthetics while maintaining modern production standards.

The story

The narrative of the shirt draws directly from Genoa's famous club anthem, 'Un Cantico per il Mio Grifone,' written in 1972 by Peo Campodonico and Gian Piero Reverberi. The kit's visual themes reference the iconic lyric 'Coi pantaloni rossi e la maglietta blu' (With red shorts and a blue shirt), celebrating the song sung by fans before kickoff at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

The launch

Announced on September 7, 2025, the release was timed to celebrate Genoa's 132nd anniversary. The launch campaign, directed creatively by No Panic and shot by photographer Nicolò Rinaldi, featured members of the club's men's and women's first teams set against backdrops rich in local symbolism.

How the generations differ

Voters can state an age group when they vote. None have yet, so there is no generational split to report — we never guess it from behaviour.
