The design
The jersey updates Germany's traditional white base with a vibrant interpretation of the national flag. A stylized diamond graphic rendered in black, red, and gold cuts across the chest in a dynamic zigzag execution. Designed to be worn with black shorts and white socks, the complete kit carries the diamond motif throughout its details to maintain a cohesive look.
The story
The visual language draws directly from Germany's iconic 1994 tournament kit, honoring the era when the United States first hosted the World Cup. By reinterpreting this retro aesthetic, the design serves as a bridge to the 2026 World Cup, which will see the national team return to North American soil.
The launch
Unveiled in November 2025, the uniform is designated for use across all levels of German football, including the men's, women's, and youth squads. It makes its competitive debut during a World Cup qualification fixture against Luxemburg.
