The design
The away shirt for the 2019/20 season features a bold pink base, throwing back to the club's aesthetic from the 1970s. This retro inspiration is balanced with a modern graphic pattern overlaying the fabric, updating the classic look for the contemporary era.
The details
A white V-neck collar details the top, printed with Hamburger SV's signature motto, "Nur der HSV." On the front, long-term sponsor Fly Emirates displays their updated "Fly better" messaging. The team branding, player names, and shirt numbers on the back are also finished in white to match the trim.
The launch
Released in late July 2019 just before the start of the standard campaign, the shirt launched alongside dark blue shorts and socks. The release also marked the availability of a dedicated women's cut of the design.
