The design
The jersey is built on a clean white base, accented by a striking vertical sublimation stripe running down the center of the torso. This stripe mirrors the tri-color layout of the Italian national flag. A contrasting tailored blue collar and matching blue shoulder panels provide a classic structural frame to the shirt.
The details
The national federation's crest is presented in a 3D frame, integrated directly into the central Italian flag graphic. On the technical side, the player-issue shirts utilize PUMA's ACTV technology, which employs strategically placed athletic tape inside the garment to help regulate body temperature, paired with moisture-wicking dryCELL fabrics.
The launch
Revealed in Florence on September 3, 2015, the away kit was immediately prepared for competitive action. The men's national team debuted the strip the following evening during their Euro 2016 qualification match against Malta.
