The design
The jersey presents a clean layout that showcases a higher number of vertical stripes than on other recent home shirts. These black and white stripes remain unbroken as they wrap around the front, back, and sleeves, creating a highly traditional look.
The details
To recapture the spirit of the club's historic teams, PUMA integrated bright red names and numbers onto the back. This contrasting details makes its return for the first time since the legendary 1992/93 promotion campaign. At the neck, the shirt features a simple black grandad collar with a single-button closure, recalling the highly popular mid-1990s shirt worn during the height of the Entertainers era.
The story
Released in anticipation of the club's 125th anniversary season, the kit carries a specially modified crest. Reimagined in silver and gold, the emblem incorporates a newly added golden heraldic scroll at its base to commemorate 125 years since Newcastle United was officially named in December 1892.
