The design
The home kit combines Newcastle United's traditional black and white stripes with a classic regional pattern, the shepherd's check. This subtle geometric texture is integrated into the vertical stripes to offer a distinctive, regional look that honors northern heritage.
The details
The shirt features a full-colour official club crest on the chest. On the rear collar, the phrase 'Howay the Lads' is printed. For the upcoming women's collection, this sign-off is customized to read 'Howay the Lasses' to recognize the club's women's team.
The launch
Newcastle United debuted the kit on May 25, 2025, in a Premier League match against Everton at St. James' Park, ahead of its retail release on May 29, 2025. For every adult shirt purchased through official club channels before the end of August, the club committed to donating £5 to the Newcastle United Foundation to support regional community and grassroots initiatives.
