The design
Puma pays homage to Palermo's football heritage by drawing inspiration from the historic white away shirts that have historically accompanied the club's iconic pink home colours. The clean white base is elevated with black and gold details, creating an elegant look fitting for a major milestone. A redesigned, shield-shaped anniversary crest is used, directly referencing the club's very first emblems.
The details
Golden accents highlight the collar and sleeve cuffs, while the collar itself is inscribed with a special dedication to the club's 125 years. Adding a distinct historical touch, the custom player font for the kit is inspired by the Liberty style (Art Nouveau) typography used on Palermo's jerseys in the late 1940s. The shirt features embroidered branding and is manufactured using Puma's RE:FIBRE textile recycling technology alongside dryCELL performance features.
The story
This fourth kit was created as the centerpiece of Palermo FC's 125th-anniversary celebrations. To capture the artistic and cultural legacy of the Sicilian capital, the club staged a special promotional photoshoot at the Villino Florio, an Art Nouveau landmark built around the same time the club was founded. Legendary past players such as Amauri, Mario Santana, and Cesare Bovo participated in the campaign alongside current youth and women's squad members.
