Third Shirt 2025/26
The design
PUMA's custom design for Palermo's third jersey draws directly from the aesthetic heritage of Mondello, the city's coastal hub. The body is covered in an elegant graphic inspired by the Art Nouveau structures found in the historic seaside resort and local villas. Integrated within this pattern is a subtle nod to the twin-tailed mermaid statue of Piazza Mondello, a traditional cultural symbol of the area.
The details
The kit's color choices mirror the scenery of the Sicilian coastline. 'Team Light Blue' evokes the Mediterranean water, 'Desert Dust' represents the shore's sand, and 'Dark Olive' highlights the natural vegetation of Monte Pellegrino overlooking the gulf. The clean look is finished with a standard crew-neck collar and the name 'Mondello' printed on the upper back.
The story
Beyond serving as a piece of sportswear, this jersey functions as an environmental campaign. Palermo FC has teamed up with the University of Palermo and the Mare Memoria Viva organization to address local marine pollution and plastic waste. The kit launch supports a series of environmental workshops, beach cleanups, and public awareness programs aimed at protecting the city's coastline.
