Home Shirt 2025/26

The design

Revisiting a classic look, the home jersey is built on a clean white base dominated by two prominent red stripes running down the center. These are flanked by a pair of narrower red stripes on either side, while a simple white collar completes the traditional aesthetic.

The details

Constructed with modern athletic demands in mind, the jersey is fabricated using Puma's dry-CELL technology for moisture control. Reflecting sustainability goals, the material uses RE:FIBRE technology consisting of at least 95% recycled textile waste. The men's first-team shirts display P&O Cruises as the primary front sponsor, while the women's team jerseys continue to showcase Starling Bank.

The legacy

This design draws heavily on the aesthetics of the late 1970s. It specifically references the 1976/77 campaign, a period when the club competed as reigning FA Cup champions with a squad featuring legendary names like Mick Channon, Alan Ball, and Bobby Stokes.

The launch

To celebrate the release, the promotional campaign positioned current players in stylized 1970s backdrops. The creative concept was brought to life by Southampton's internal studio TURF, working alongside photographer Matt Gordon and AI artist Sam Finn.
