The design
The away strip for the 2021/22 campaign is built on a clean white foundation, highlighted by a diagonal sash that proudly showcases the club's iconic blue, white, red, and black stripes. This sash is uniquely divided in the center to make way for the St. George's cross, a historic symbol of Genoa that is deeply woven into the identity of the club.
The details
A refined Mandarin knit collar with a classic three-button placket anchors the neckline. Inside, the neck tape is detailed with the club's famous declaration, 'La maglia più bella del mondo' (The most beautiful shirt in the world). On the reverse, the silhouette of the Baciccia sailor is printed in blue just below the collar. Both the technical brand logo and the club crest are applied in textured silicone for a modern finish.
The launch
Released in early August 2021, this jersey completed the club's kit lineup for the upcoming season. It was launched alongside royal blue shorts and socks accented by the traditional club colors, creating a cohesive and culturally rich look for away fixtures.
