Borussia Dortmund Home Shirt 2023/24
The design
The 2023/24 home shirt brings a bold visual identity to the pitch, showcasing a prominent graphic representation of Signal Iduna Park. Dressed in the club's signature yellow and black, the design captures the distinctive structure of Dortmund's home ground, providing a direct connection between the team and its stadium.
The story
In a move to honor their supporter base, the club and PUMA launched a global fan design contest that drew over 15,000 entries. A selection committee, featuring first-team captain Marco Reus and legendary player Dedê, narrowed the pool down to nine concepts before opening up the final decision to a public fan vote.
The launch
The jersey made its physical debut on May 26, 2023, releasing across official club and manufacturer channels. The squad wore the fan-designed kit on the pitch for the first time just one day later, during their final Bundesliga home fixture of the season against FSV Mainz 05.
